David Angelo H. Jorvina, LPT, is a multifaceted Filipino musician, trumpet player, arranger, and educator whose work spans classical, jazz, contemporary, and musical theatre performance. A graduate of the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music, he holds degrees in Music Education (Trumpet Emphasis) and Trumpet Performance, and is a licensed professional teacher.
David has built a dynamic career as both performer and educator. He has served as Principal Trumpet of the UST Symphony Orchestra, UST Wind Orchestra, and UST Jazz Band, and has performed extensively in musical theatre productions including A Chorus Line, A Christmas Carol, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Noli Me Tangere the Opera, and Passion. His versatility has led him to collaborate with prominent Filipino artists such as Richard Poon, Juan Karlos, Kyle Echarri, Esang De Torres, and ALYSON, as well as the well‑known brass collective Brass Pas Pas Pas Pas.
His performance career extends internationally, having played in major festivals such as the Busan Rock Festival and Zandari Music Festival in South Korea, the BNI Java Jazz Festival in Indonesia, and the Wanderland Festival in the Philippines.
As an arranger, David has contributed to ensembles such as the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra, UST Symphony Orchestra, Maranatha Symphony Orchestra, and Dagupan City Children’s Choir, and has been commissioned for theatrical productions including Bagets: The Musical and Delia D: The Musical. His work reflects a deep understanding of orchestration, ensemble writing, and contemporary musical styles.
In education, David has taught in institutions such as OB Montessori Center, San Beda College Alabang, and Vinea Domini Institute, while also serving as a private trumpet instructor and workshop speaker for organizations like PASAMBAP and the Music Teachers National Alliance.
