Infrared Thermography Level 1 Certification Program
In-person Training
Earn 35 CPD Points for ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING COUNCIL
The program will provide participants with how to develop skills in measuring the temperature of electrical assets, such as power transformers, panels, switchgear, bus ducts, power cables, transformers enclosures, etc.
This thermal imaging program is developed for non-certification programs; however, participants would be able to use its thermal imaging camera effectively and with confidence. Interpretation of results will also be discussed during hands-on lectures. Many have learned from this hands-on program and do not require certification to learn how to measure temperatures at different assets
Perfect for: Maintenance teams, inspectors, energy auditors, and reliability pros.
The seminar will focus on the following:
- Applications and benefits of infrared technology in electrical installation.
- Thermal Imaging concepts.
- Practical approach to non-invasive maintenance.
- Experience what a thermal image can reveal.
- Practical application of thermal imaging.

Mr. Vincent Jason Peñalosa
Certified Level 3 Thermographer
Mr. Jek Peñalosa graduated BS Commerce from the University of Sto Tomas and later took a special course in audio technology from Digidesign Pro Tools Certification Program in California, USA. He is a certified Pro Tools Music and Production Operator (First in the Philippines, First in Asia).
As an audio engineer himself, he was recognized by one of the two Asian technical persons in digital audio. He also conducts lectures to broadcast stations, primarily in ABS – CBN and other broadcast stations on audio systems.
He received his Level 3 Certification in Thermography through the Infrared Training Center of Sweden, Stockholm. Mr. Jek attended power system training and seminars from Bender systems in Germany, Doble Engineering conferences for many years, and attended various training in the power system in Asia, US, and Europe. He now works full-time as VP for Sales and Marketing of Westco Electrical & Equipment Corp.
He is also PamavTech’s Resource speaker for Infrared Thermography and Power Quality and Harmonics.
