Ebudio Gerard L. Rañada Jr. is a dedicated Filipino music educator, trainer, and multi‑instrumentalist with over three decades of experience in teaching, performance, and music ministry. With a strong foundation in music theory, pedagogy, and instrumental instruction, he has built a career centered on developing young musicians and sharing his passion for music across academic and community settings.
A graduate of the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music, where he earned both his Music Teachers Diploma and Bachelor of Music degree, Ebudio later completed his Master of Arts in Music Theory at St. Paul University Manila. His early achievements include multiple leadership roles, recognition as Musician of the Year, and being a Regional NAMCYA Winner, reflecting his long-standing commitment to musical excellence.
Ebudio has served in various respected institutions, including National University–Nazareth School, where he worked as a Grade and High School Music Teacher and Keyboardist for over a decade. He has also taught Theory and Solfège at Centro Escolar University, and worked extensively as a Woodwind Instructor at the Yamaha School of Music Philippines. His teaching career spans classroom instruction, band training, private tutoring, and church music ministry.
As a performer and instrumentalist, he has contributed to school ensembles, church services, and community music programs, while also mentoring low‑income students in piano, guitar, and drums—demonstrating his commitment to accessible music education.
