Karl Navato is a Filipino singer and actor with a strong technical foundation in musical theatre and classical vocal performance. A graduate of the University of Santo Tomas with a Bachelor of Music in Music Theatre (Cum Laude), he combines disciplined conservatory training with practical stage experience across children’s theatre, contemporary musicals, and live entertainment.
Karl has performed with respected theatre companies such as Repertory Philippines, Artist Playground, and MediaBIZ Entertainment, taking on character-driven ensemble roles in productions including Alice in Wonderland, Mga Awit ng Ibong Adarna, Noli Me Tangere: Kaming Nangalagas sa Dilim, and I Will: The Musical. His versatility extends to opera-related work, having served as a Supertitlist for the Cultural Center of the Philippines and the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra’s production of Don Pasquale.
Beyond the stage, Karl works as an events entertainer with Clowning Around MNL, bringing characters to life for children’s parties and corporate events across the country. He also contributes to the creative process as a vocal coach, supporting performers in developing their vocal technique and musical interpretation.
His training includes multiple workshops with Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group, where he strengthened his skills in acting, dance (tap, jazz, and ballet), and musical theatre fundamentals. He also gained backstage experience as an Assistant Stage Manager for Atlantis Imaginarium Young Theatre’s Madagascar: A Musical Adventure.
With strong musicianship, advanced sight‑reading skills, and a growing list of performance credits, Karl Navato continues to build a dynamic career in Philippine theatre—bringing commitment, artistry, and storytelling to every role he performs.
